Interview
Applied online and was turned down after 2 weeks. I was called almost a month after my interview and asked if I was still interested. The Liberty Mutual recruiter said they had an opening come up and wanted to schedule a phone interview. Did the phone interview the next day and had the in person interview the day after that.
The phone interview was easy, why do you want to leave? Is this salary range acceptable? Would you be able to start on X date.
The in person interview was with 2 hiring managers who took turns interviewing me. The first interview was half me being told what the job entailed and a little about the company. The other half was STAR questions and there was I think 5 or 6. The interviewer was engaging and it felt more like a conversation. I then asked the interviewer questions. The first interviewer also ran down my resume and asked general questions about my responsibilities at other jobs I had had.
The second interview was right after and again was 4 or 5 STAR questions followed by them asking me if I had anything else I would like to ask.
That was on a Friday morning and the following monday they sent an email declining me the position. There was 1 other person who arrived to the interview at the same time as me although we did not have the same interviewers. I feel that they must have been a much stronger candidate and there was only 1 position available because I thought my interview went very well.

So far I have submitted my application and participated in the virtual pre-interview which took less than 10 minutes, one business day after I did the pre-interview I received an invitation to do a self-paced virtual interview. It consisted of 5 questions that had 1 opportunity to record, 60 seconds of “think time” and 3 minutes of time to answer the questions.

Immediately after applying there is a screening interview. After the screening interview i received an email from the hiring recruiter. Then I had a second interview. This was a series of three questions that I had to record my answers. After I submitted my responses to the three questions, I received an email from the recruiter requesting a interview by Skype. The Skype interview was one hour with two hiring managers.

Interview
Rigorous and a waste of 3 hours of my life. They act like they are really interested in you, but they are not. They tell you that you don't need claims experience, but yet if you have claims experience you are not selected. Be prepared to take a short paper quiz, that they don't tell you if you passed or not. The whole process is stupid.
