I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl in Jul 2016
Interview
I applied online and after 2 weeks I received an e-mail for a phone interview. They asked me to call them to book a slot. The person at the phone was sometimes hard to understand (English is not my first language) but I just asked him to repeat. Then they called me back on the day of the interview and the woman was easier to understand and very nice. She asked me what role I applied for, she asked me how many hours can I work per week and my availability. I had to decline the offer because they were looking for a 20hrs part-time assistant (and that's not bad anyway) but you had to be available from 5am to 11pm and it didn't suit my schedule.
(Basically they offer you a part-time job but you have to be available as or more than a full-time job. Please, Lidl, you should hire someone who can manage time shifts in a better way.)
It was a relaxed interview by two members of Lidl. It took 15 minutes and they asked a checklist of questions which were mainly based on experience and experiences I’ve faced in customer service.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Hove, England) in Sep 2024
Interview
It was good and very interactive. I was interviewed by two managers and I was asked a bunch of question. Just be confidant and flow with the questions. I’d rate it a 7/10.
