I was put forward for the role by a recruiter, this is the main way they hire for their positions.
The interview was held in 2 parts first a board of 3 or 4 meet with you for the main interview, they will expect a portfolio, then if that goes well you will be asked to visit their offices and do a short 30min test. Assembling a poster or magazine cover . Saving it correctly, cutting images to fit , and moving artwork from program to program for editing. Photoshop and illustrator where the programs.
