Waste of effort and time. The very first stage of the interview process is a presentation including 2 parts which must be 30 minutes long. 1- Brand audit on one of their products 2- Full marketing strategy including target market, 30k budget, where you would spend it, competitors etc. No problem for a 50k role, this role is only 26k. I wouldn’t say it was difficult but for the position and salary it was asking a lot considering they’ve never even spoken to me, this could be appropriate for the second stage maybe..... maybe! I felt some questions directed at me were unnecessary as it would not have been something I would have been involved in at this level. I think they wanted to pay as little as possible to hopefully get someone desperate enough.
