Three big green flags. My opening requirement was only a resume. I'm not a fan of cover letters or writing samples as I believe writing clarity can be covered in a resume and a cover letter should be covered in interview(s). So, this was the first green flag. I went through a preliminary screening call (informational alignment on the role and verification of my experience and expectations). This recruiter (as well as a 2nd recruiter) maintained communication with me throughout the interview process to check in on how I was doing, to check back in on expectations, and to collect feedback. The way this was handled was a 2nd green flag. I was thrown into a very swift "panel interview" process, consisting of 6 interviews in 6 days, along with a short assignment to be completed in parallel to this process. I was intimidated by the cadence at first. However, each of the panelist interviewers made me more relaxed and more excited about the role. It was the most intense interview process I've gone through, but I've never had a more encouraging process either. This was the third green flag.
