I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Jul 2021
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. The process took almost two months from initial outreach to the hiring decision. Timelines were pushed out since some employees were on PTO and they had a week long shut down for July 4th. There were 4 stages.
1. Recruiter screening via phone
2. Interview with hiring manager via Zoom
3. Virtual “on-site” 1:1s with the hiring manager & 5 team members via Zoom
4. Final 1:1 interviews with hiring manager and the hiring manager’s boss via Zoom
Overall, I thought that LinkedIn had an excellent recruitment process compared to other companies. The recruiter always kept me in the loop throughout the process. They provide material to help you prepare for the virtual onsite. Everyone that I interviewed with were extremely friendly. The process did take awhile but that’s expected with these large companies.

It was a simple phone interview where they asked me some basic questions about what I learned in school, why LinkedIn, etc. It was only a 15-minute interview and a casual conversation. The interview was very nice and all the questions were straightforward.
