Recruiter reached out after a referral. Initial phone screen was 30 mins and questions were about background, why LinkedIn. The recruiter wasn’t paying attention nor did she seem to be taking any notes. She showed no interest and lacked enthusiasm when I asked her about about the role, team and LinkedIn. She said she would touch base after talking to an HR Partner and I got a rejection a day later with no feedback. It’s easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had over the years with LinkedIn (a company I admire for so many reasons) and a shame to know that they don’t take interest in the candidates.
