I arrived at the scheduled time, but the HR person had taken the day off! An underling "interviewed" me, but she was out of her depth. She was, however, impressed, and left me sitting for about 15 minutes while she tried to find the manager needing support to meet me. She couldn't find him (more like he refused), and wrapped it all up. I never heard back from them despite even sending a thank you email. I understand not responding to all applicants, but it's really bad manners to not communicate with people who have taken the time to meet you! That's a business etiquette failure my experience could have helped them avoid. Nevertheless, the position was reposted a couple of weeks later. I guess that was supposed to be my sign that I wasn't selected. Zero professionalism and class!
