Was contacted by a member of the department to ask if I was interested in a phone interview. Phone interview happened within a week and was then invited to travel to the company for an in person interview with flight, hotel, and rental car paid for. Was met at the front door and introduced to the team leader, had a technical interview session with several of the head engineers, and was taken for a tour of the factory before lunch and a tour of some of the facilities.

Rigourous, multiple phases and they make sure that you are serious in defense contracting. Also check for your knowledge of certain systems related to the job posting. Do your research on them

The interview was fairly straight forward, similar to most engineering interviews. I received an auto email to set up an interview through a calendar service and then was sent the teams link. Lots of vague behavioral-ish questions that leave it open for you to direct.

My interviews with Lockheed Martin were for intern positions. They were very much personality focused rather than technical. Standard preparation using the STAR method was great. My interview was only with a single person, not a panel.
