Logicalis Senior Network Operations Engineer interview questions

1st Interview was a technical interview. It was a PDF with small networking diagrams and questions. Interviewers were polite and they did respect your answers. Overall experience was good. 2nd interview was i belive with the hiring manager. He honestly explained about the job role and what they are expecting if I join their company. Overall experience was neutral. I would like to add the following details about the job role: - They are expecting you to be available 24x7 for 365 days! - Monthly night shift: 15 hour night shift from 6pm to next day 9am. for 7 days! (I believe this is against Singapore Law as well. It says that a maximum of 12 hours per day and 72 hours per week. Also, how can a person work night shift like this? And the allowance for the night shift is really low. Maybe it's enough to buy one meal for you!) - You may have to work on weekends almost every week! You may apply for a lieu leave only when the company workload is low. Also if you work 50 hours on weekend, you may probably have to claim around 20-25 hours max. Rest of the hours the company will dismiss. - Their offer is a 2-year contract with a 2-year bond. Which means if you can't leave before 2 years unless you pay a big load of money to the company. I felt like are they going to put me in a prison?? - They only explained about the work role and what they expecting from the employee which is like a full commitment to the company. They never explained what other benefits that the company gives (ex: employee welfare, training, allowances, etc.) I rejected the offer politely since this job will put me in a prison-like situation where i do not have a personal life! My advice is, join if you're desperate! Unless, enjoy your life with whatever you have! :)
