Application
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (North Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2009
Interview
I filed with the Labor Board, got an interview within 2 days. There were three interviews total. The first was with HR, the second was a day later with an associate sale manager, and the final was with the store manager. My interview was eight years ago, so I dont recall the questions asked.

Question 1
I dont recall them asking many hard questions. It was more like the fit within the company, where I would see myself fitting. I answered paint or home decor due to my background. I got hired and put into outside lawn and garden.
No matter what you're hiring for.. the questions will be along the lines of "Tell me about a time when.." the scenarios will change somewhat depending on the position you're interviewing for obviously. Management positions will be asking how you handled people and disagreement, safety situations in the past, and how you plan ahead for future tasks etc. A couple of questions from the general question pool seem to make it in management interviews too, but lower than management all questions are just going to ask about how you've handled situations in the past.
