I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Jackson, MI) in Mar 2014
Interview
I applied online and received a call from HR manager about a week later, went in for interview two days later. First I was given a description of the job to be sure I understood it, then asked series of questions by HR manager. When that was over I interviewed with the Assistant Store Manager, asked basically the same questions. Was told it would be a week or so before I would hear from them. Walked out of the office to be called back in with HR manager and was given a job offer.

The interview was a brief 15-minute discussion of the hours you are available and scenario questions to see if you are a natural problem solver. It was low-stress and I had the chance to ask many of my own questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Holmdel, NJ) in Apr 2023
Interview
Everything is easy as long as the staff themselves are friendly. There are also standard background checks, such as basic information and a drug test. There aren't much qualifications for this job as long as you're behaved well, know basic math, and are willing to take any responsibilities.
