I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2014
Interview
Received a call about a week after I completed the online application. Interviewed with HR manager. Signed a paper that said I understood the job description. She read off a sheet of paper and wrote down my answers. Mostly "describe a time when" questions. After that an assistant manager asked similar questions. Was called exactly a week later by HR manager with a job offer. I accepted and she sent the background check. Took 2 days to hear back. Went in for drug test (swab test on-site) the next day and given my start date.

The interview was a brief 15-minute discussion of the hours you are available and scenario questions to see if you are a natural problem solver. It was low-stress and I had the chance to ask many of my own questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Holmdel, NJ) in Apr 2023
Interview
Everything is easy as long as the staff themselves are friendly. There are also standard background checks, such as basic information and a drug test. There aren't much qualifications for this job as long as you're behaved well, know basic math, and are willing to take any responsibilities.
