Went in to apply. was told I had to do it online. I gave my resume' to the person who told me that and went home. They called me to come in. A manager type person asked me questions. Just the usual stuff. Told me I would be contacted. They called and offered me the job. Told to ccome in for onboarding. Filled out forms on their computer. Was asked for my driver's license. Told herm I had lost it but had a picture of it on my phone and that police officer had used it for the information he needed. Was told they had to have the real license. WITHIN 3 CALENDAR DAYS. It was Saturday when I was told this. I'm in Kentucky and we are supposed to call for an appointment to renew a license. I called Monday and no one answered the phone. I tried another number I found on the internet. That phone was answered. It was a recording saying to leave my phone number and someone would call me within 48 hours. I was fired because I did not provide my driver's license within 3 calendar days. These hiring people are nuts . At least the ones at the Todds Rd Store in Lexington Ky. Called many times to find out what was going on. Person I need to talk to was not available. Went by and left a note because person I needed to talk to was not there. No calls back. I didn't even know I had been fired for weeks. Was not told. Never received a termination letter .Fired without being told because I could not present a driver's license within 3 CALENDAR days from the Saturday I was hired. Could not get the license to them by Monday.Not informed I was fired until weeks later. Just happened to call and the person I needed to talk to find out what was going on--when I needed to report to work. She told me I had been fired. Because I didn't drop off a COPY of my temporary license until Wed and it had to be in on Monday. had to be in by Monday. Did not care that I had tried. Did not care that 2 of the 3 days she had given me were weekend days. Did not care that phone at Driver's License office was not answered on Monday and the call back was 48 hours. I do not know if all Lowes are like this. Oh, I have been blocked from their web site. Cannot get on the site unless I use someone else's login.

Manager was easy to talk to. Store was clean. Effective interview but my broken hand took a toll on my hiring. Was taken in a timely manner. Had my questions asked honestly even if I got no offer.
