I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Richmond, VA) in Nov 2015
Interview
applied through company website, lots and lots of behavioral questions took over 30mins to complete the application process. got a phone call after 2 weeks, this was jus the overview on your resume that you had submitted, and was asked to explain about the experience related to the job area. lots of questions about team management, customer service. after a week was called in for a face to face interview with the store manager and the market sales manager. They briefed me about the job role and what is expected to deliver then there were series of back to back behavioral questions. be prepared to answer a lot about managing people, customer relations, hypothetical scenarios between you and the customer, your relationship with the team members.
One advice - if you have no experience with project management, marketing, sales this is not the job for you. they need a professional who is design savvy with lots of marketing skills. be honest with your answers as much as possible. they ask lots of cross questions to get the maximum info.
i ll list the questions asked to the best of my memory,
describe a time when the client had a unreasonable request and you had to solve tht.?
describe a time when the team member was not in line with the team and how it affected the project and how you handled it?
how will you close a sale?
what do you think a complete renovation for the kitchen ll cost?
list the products/brands in market tht you like and their pros and cos.
if the client is not happy with the budget - how ll you solve his prblem?
how many projects have you handelled and completed?
and there were few more questions but yeah have lots of marketing and sales experience handy to support your answers.
the interviewers were very polite and gave a friendly vibe.
I jus attended the interview i dunno if i ll get the job or not.. i ll update the review if i do.
It was a very good interview for me.

Was all about who you knew in the company to get the position. There was a lot of external candidates considered before internals. Was not a very structured interview process, they already knew who they wanted.

I applied online. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Charleston, SC) in Apr 2017
Interview
I applied online as an internal candidate, several days after I applied I received and email to set up a pre interview phone conversation. The call can last up to 30 minutes however since I am a cabinet specialist and know the position and I have worked for Lowes for nearly 20 years, the conversation was short. Lasting only about 7 minutes with the reviewer asking if I had any questions.
