I was contacted by the HR and there were three rounds.
1. HR Screen: HR representative was very friendly, typical questions about salary, relocation, benefits and asked for availability.
2. Hiring manager: Hiring manager was friendly and nice, but didn't give a lot of information about the role. He said my role would do a lot of different things and has not been defined yet.
3. Third round with panel of (4) employees: (1) hiring manager again, it would have been nice if his interview was in the end so that I could have discussed how the other three interviews were. Had a forced meeting for 30 minutes. The manufacturing engineering person had asked for OEE formula which was a necessity for this role to develop. I could not get that right but I tried to explain how that works and how to come up with the number. The other interview was with the production manager. He was laid back and asked my experience with production folks and dealing with changes and all. The last interview was with IE manager from corporate, he seemed pretty relaxed too, had asked basic questions like how would you prioritize projects and all. Overall decent process. If a company decides if you are a good candidate by whether or not you know a certain formula then you need to run in the opposite direction.
