I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lucid Software (South Jordan, UT) in Jan 2024
Interview
*This experience is for former employees considering re-applying*
I was a former employee who had expressed interest to colleagues about coming back about 7 months after I had left. My interview process came down to 2 panel interviews with Management and Senior Leaders. Although the process was short, I felt very strung along and also felt that I was made an example of. Being a former employee I understand how the hiring process had worked but after all communications I had, it was made clear "the hiring committee decides" who is even on this supposed "hiring committee"? After waiting 3 weeks from start to finish, I had to follow up multiple times and beg for answers until finally one day a manager called and told me I didn't get it due to my numbers? I was a consistent and top performer at Lucid and the organization I am at now, also had been recognized multiple times in my time at Lucid for my achievements.
It is unfortunate that it ultimately came down to a random group of people at Lucid who made the final decision and not the actual people who I worked closely with or managed me.
For new interviewees, the interview process is extensive and no matter how well you feel you might have done and connected with the leaders, it will come down to a random group of people who decide.

Interview
A series of 4 interviews. Recruiter, 2 panel interviews, VP interview with presentation. Very clear through the process, and kept on pace for the timeline just as they shared. Great experience and people.
The smooth process and well structured approach made the interview a pleasure. The sessions were well managed, ensuring efficient use of time. I greatly appreciate the accurate feedback provided, which was insightful and helpful for my professional development. A great experience!
Was a really long process with a lot of twists and turns. Enjoyed talking to everyone, some very smart people work at Lucid and that was what made me choose to accept the offer in the end.
