Rude and unprofessional. Recruiter reaches out via LinkedIn with some copypasta. We chat and set up time for a phone interview. Like a lot of the recent reviews, when that time rolled around, no call. I tried calling their office, no answer. So I send her an email and she emails me back half an hour later claiming she was in a meeting. Says let's reschedule. I say ok and restate my available times. Then ghosted. I don't even mind the email ghosting. What I do care about is you actually wasting my time. It's one thing to just ignore an email. I understand that's the nature of the game and you recruiters are much too busy with other work than to actually recruit. But to set up a phone interview and have a person waiting around only to flake is incredibly unprofessional. Guess I should've expected that from a recruiter who thinks a low 3.0 weighted GPA from high school is something worth bragging about on linkedin.
