I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Lucky Brand (Denver, CO) in Jul 2012
Interview
I walked in and asked for an application making sure that it was okay for me to apply even though I was still 17 as I turned 18 in 6 days. They allowed me to fill out the application there and said that I would receive a call in the next few days. I received the call 4-5 days later and was asked to come in for a one-on-one interview. The interview was with the fill-in (not permanent) store manager and was short. She asked me basic questions about retail and working with clothes and my availability. I did disclose that I have chronic migraines and will probably be calling in a few times as it makes it so I am unable to work and she was fine with it. Asked if I had questions, which I didn't, and we went on our ways.

Question 1
Think of 4 open-ended questions to ask a customer.
Casual and the interviewer was extremely kind and welcoming. Questions were fairly basic - tell me about yourself, strengths and weaknesses, etc. I thought that this interview was way less stress than other companies and the work environment was great!
Super easy and asked interesting questions. It was with the assistant manager of the store. Just prep interview questions and you will be fine. As long as you come off prepared and wiling to work you will be fine.
Conversational, made you feel at ease. Asked about yourself, your qualities and why you think you're a fit in this store. They look for sociable employees that are able to stay with their customers and provide constant attention, service, and style advice.
