I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lucky Brand (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2011
Interview
They, like every job, have a check list to go through to see how well you fit this job. They see how well you learn and are willing to improve and learn. They play out scenarios with customers, roll play, and you respond. They then guide you from there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask some difficult questions, such as how far would you go, have you gone for a customer to make them happy. This sounds like a make or break question. They want someone honest, but they also want someone willing to go the distance within the boundaries of the company.
Casual and the interviewer was extremely kind and welcoming. Questions were fairly basic - tell me about yourself, strengths and weaknesses, etc. I thought that this interview was way less stress than other companies and the work environment was great!
Super easy and asked interesting questions. It was with the assistant manager of the store. Just prep interview questions and you will be fine. As long as you come off prepared and wiling to work you will be fine.
Conversational, made you feel at ease. Asked about yourself, your qualities and why you think you're a fit in this store. They look for sociable employees that are able to stay with their customers and provide constant attention, service, and style advice.
