Applied on LinkedIn. The recruiter called me and pushed me through. I eventually got a standard no-reply denial email from them. But then the recruiter called me again for another interview. I'm like, I already did this, got denied, what's going on... She pushed me through (again.) This time I had a video interview with the new at the time director of operations. We had a good conversation so he pushed me through to the next step, a video call with who would be my direct boss (head of content) and someone on the team. An hour before the interview, the head of content asked to push the meeting 5 hours later. I obliged. 20min into our 1-hour call, she mentioned she had a hard stop in 10 minutes. I ended up getting that standard no-reply denial email again. But good riddance. This place seems incredibly unorganized. This role has been constantly reposted on job boards. My experience with who would be my direct boss was unprofessional and disrespectful. I urge anyone looking into this place to seek elsewhere. There are plenty of smaller agencies in San Diego where you would have a much higher impact with less politics and stress.

I was connected to this company through a recruiter. The job title did not mention Amazon at all. The recruiting company they chose is super unorganized and chaotic. But anyways I had an interview scheduled. Then the director of operations emails me to set up an interview… ski tell him I already have one and confirm it. The the day prior to the interview I find that the job has been posted through Jobot with a higher salary than was initially there… super slimey and I’m not a fan. Plus of course they’re another tech company having people do work for free with an assignment. Which I wasn’t going to do. I cancelled my interview.
