I applied on LinkedIn and received an email to set up a time for a phone call. I responded and we set up a time when I would be called.
I didn't receive a call at the scheduled time and later sent a follow up email asking if they would like to reschedule, to which I didn't receive a reply. I followed up a few days later by calling the number that was listed by the recruiter that had reached out to me. Nobody picked up and I left a voicemail reiterating my interest and saying I would be happy to find a new time to talk.
I never heard anything back and am fairly annoyed that I had to spend the time preparing for an interview and then waiting around for a call that never came and then received no follow up at all. I understand that things come up and mistakes happen, but even a quick "Sorry our needs have changed and we have decided to move forward with other candidates" would be much better.
I can't speak to the rest of the interview process at Digital Pharmacist, and I hate to draw too strong conclusions based on one interaction, but I was very disappointed in my experience.
Thank you for your review - we appreciate the feedback, because candidate experience is important to us. Unfortunately, our recruiter missed the call due to an emergency; we apologize sincerely for the inconvenience. Your time is valuable, and we are reviewing our processes to make sure this does not happen again.
