I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lytro (Mountain View, CA) in Sep 2012
Interview
Applied on lytro.com. Got a call in few days from a recruiter, followed by a technical telephonic interview. And within few days got to know that I need to meet the team in person, for 4 rounds of interviews. I found the people very talented, and humble. My overall impression of the people, work environment, and, interview process was one of the best.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lytro (Mountain View, CA) in Aug 2013
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter and interviewed with one guy on the phone followed by an on-site. The interview questions included questions on advanced C++ knowledge as well as Object-Oriented design, as well as some Java and REST API design. The interview process was very annoying because Lytro gave me very strict deadlines on accepting the offer. Their team members never once called me after the interview to urge me to join them, so throughout the process I never felt that they were enthusiastic about me joining them, very unlike other companies that I was interviewing.
