      Technical Interview

      Mountain View, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lytro (Mountain View, CA) in Dec 2013

      Interview

I was called by the recruiter first, who found my profile on LinkedIn. It was a typical phone screen, asking about my current job, the skills I'm using, and the reason for why I'm looking for a new job. Questions about why I find the open position at Lytro interesting. The recruiter then said she will provide feedback to the hiring manager and would call me back. A few days after, more updates came. I was scheduled for in person interviews at their office in Mountain view. The interview was done by the key people the position was going to work with. I also spoke with the hiring manager. A few days after, max maybe 2 weeks, I got their decision already.

      Question 1

The interview questions I got are more situational than role-specific. With the hiring manager, it was just like a chat.
