Interview
Interview consisted of one round at the school/fair. The next round consisted of a super day that totaled five 30 minute interviews. Relatively easy with all personality/fit questions - it's a sales job so make sure you make your personality come through. Emphasis on small business and what M&T is all about. Make sure you want to work in a branch for the next few years they like to keep people in retail, just realize that if you're using the retail position to get your foot in the door at a bank.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at M&T Bank (Ithaca, NY) in May 2015
Interview
Very easy and friendly. Fast and smooth; everyone I interviewed with was on the same page. Met on campus first for an 1:1. Then had two phone interviews. Finished with a 1:1 in a local branch. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and found that M&T employees were very helpful and willing to answer any questions I had. I believe this speaks to the company culture and what M&T stands for.

After submitting my resume I was selected to have an on-campus interview. This interview was with one person, and it was really laid back. Less than two weeks later I got an email asking me to come in house. For my in-house interview I interviewed with two people, and then had a phone interview right after. Three days later I had a final phone interview. This interview was the most difficult.
