I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at M&T Bank (Buffalo, NY) in Nov 2011
Interview
I entered the application on line and within 2 days I received a phone call from HR to set up appt. for screening. The screening process was pretty basic. Once the screening was done, an appt. was set up for interview w/ the department manager. He was very knowledgable and into seems to be very hand on w/ his work. He was very down to earth and made me feel at ease throughout the entire interview. The explained about how demanding the position can get yet he seems to a fair and flexible boss. We talked about my qualifications and asked a few technical questions. He did explained that there were a few internal postings for this position. The interview took about one hour. Unfortunately, about 2 weeks later I received a thank you letter from HR.

The interview process was very basic and formal. This is a general position, so expect general questions about yourself and resume. There were two interviewers and both were very kind and informative.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at M&T Bank (Buffalo, NY)
Interview
Great experience. Thoughtful conversation vs intense questioning. The whole process was relatively quick. I was an internal hire, so more of a promotion from within but still had to interview with the team a manger as well as the other product managers

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at M&T Bank in Jan 2022
Interview
I applied through M&T’s website and received an email 2 weeks later for an HR interview. About 2 weeks after the HR interview, I interviewed with the hiring manager and her manager. There was a 3 week lag before HR reached out to schedule 3 more interviews, with 5 people in departments/roles that I would be working with. About a week after that I received an offer.

Question 1
I was really happy with the interview questions/subjects. No one asked any canned interview questions. They mostly wanted to know about my experience, projects I had managed in the past, my process, how I handle communication and delegation of action items.
