Applied via LinkedIn and got call from the recruiter to setup some time for the HR round. HR went well and got next round scheduled with the hiring manager. Hiring manager round also went fantastic, hiring manager asked basic Java questions. Got the final round scheduled after couple of weeks. It was whole day remote interview for about 4 hr with 5 people.
It appears that technical round dudes were prepared to reject. They kept asking bizarre questions.
Later on, I was informed via email that they would not be moving forward. No explanation, no feedback, just "we went another way."
Asking so much of a candidate in preparation of an interview, and then not even picking up the phone to deliver the news is lazy and disrespectful.
Don’t waste your time with such company.

2nd interview was coding for 90 mins
3rd were technical -I will not say hard but twisty questions

The interviewer was very polite and went smoothly. Nothing unreasonable was asked. Talked shop for a little bit and then discussed my experience. Ended with some technical questions about system design and algorithms.
