I initially went through a recruiter screen and the recruiter was very nice and open about the role. I was then asked to interview with the VP of Infrastructure. Even though there were some challenges getting the call scheduled, the call itself went really well. I was told that she would follow up later in the week, once they had a chance to review other candidates. I never heard from them again. I reached out to the recruiter multiple times and never received a response. I also reached out directly to the hiring manager, but she didn't respond either. I completely understand if you've found better candidates for the role, but don't just ghost me. A simple "We've decided to proceed with other candidates" email is all it takes. But to say you'll get back to me, and then never respond to the multiple emails I sent, is pretty terrible. Please try and treat people with some basic respect, MKS.
