The questions asked were to get to know your personality, lasted about 10 minutes. It felt a lot more like a conversation than an interview, there weren't many questions about skills.
I showed up at a hiring fair for a restaurant that would be opening in the next two weeks and applied onsite. The General Manager from an out of town MOD looked over my resume, then questioned me about my personal interests. Very interactive about who we were as people and what we valued. Then we spoke about teamwork, leadership skills, and previous work history. He directed me over to the GM that would be at my restaurant. She immediately asked about work experience, available hours, and my preferred learning methods. She wanted me on the team and hired me on the spot!
Asked a few questions behavioral and availability questions as well and then asked for some times when I demonstrated each of their four G's, which are grit, gratitude, growth, and generosity.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MOD Pizza in Jun 2024
Interview
The interview process was smooth. I have worked at MOD for over a year and it is a great place filled with awesome people. If you don't have food service experience before applying to MOD, that's okay, the skills are very teachable.
