I applied online. I interviewed at MOO (East Providence, RI) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process was remarkably smooth and efficient. From my initial application to receiving a formal offer, the entire timeline spanned only about eight days.
I was contacted the same day I applied and had my first phone interview just two days later. Following that, I was invited to the East Providence office for an in-person interview with the CS Manager and the Head of Customer Service. The final stage was a virtual interview with a member of the People team and a Senior CS Supervisor based in the UK.
I was particularly impressed by how the hiring team accommodated the significant time difference for that final interview; they truly went above and beyond to ensure the scheduling worked for everyone involved.
I wrapped up that final conversation on a Friday and was told to expect an update early the following week. To my surprise, I received the job offer via email just 45 minutes later. The speed and professionalism of the entire process were truly impressive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: Can you describe a time where you had to give formal feedback to an employee for performance, or put someone on a Performance Improvement Plan?
(This is not word for word - just the general gist of the question.)
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MOO (London, England) in Oct 2022
Interview
The interview process itself was relatively simple and straightforward. I was contacted by the initial recruiter, Dom, very soon after submitting my application and had quite an enjoyable initial phone screening with him.
I was then invited for a 45 minute zoom interview with my prospective line managers and they were absolutely lovely to speak to. I had a great time and was looking forward to hearing back from the company within the following couple of weeks.
My next correspondence from their recruitment department was about two and a half weeks later, on a Friday, from a different recruiter to the one that initially screened me. The email outlined specific dates/times the following week for M/T/W at quite a short notice, and was written quite poorly in terms of spelling/grammar. Unfortunately, it did end up in my junk/spam folder (maybe due to the spelling?) which I checked midweek the following week and I do feel that they could have done a little better in trying to reach me. Usually, recruiters would try to follow up via a phone call to deliver good news or take measures to prevent things from reaching spam/junk folders.
I have thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the people who work at MOO within the customer service department and really saw myself working alongside them but have sadly been let down by a recruitment department that could do with a little improvement.
Pros:
- Seemingly great work culture
- Genuine, lovely people
- Comfortable interview
Cons:
- Little effort from recruiters
