I applied online. I interviewed at MUFG in Mar 2025
Interview
I did 6 rounds over 2-3 weeks for a VP role in Investment Banking including meeting with the head of the entire banking group who said I have "a very strong resume". They ghosted me. I followed up with every team member I met with and HR and not one person responded to me - not even HR. It's been 6 months, the application in the portal still says under consideration - I don't know if they even filled it.

Overall the process was straightforward with two rounds of interviews. Pleasant experience all in all with general questions asked. Nothing too complicated. Last round was more of an informal chat.
Pretty straightforward process. I met two directors, and they were interested in my relevant experience and technical depth around credit risk frameworks.
Had questions around common gaps in credit frameworks and questions around regulatory requirements and how to stay abreast and compliant as a bank.
