Spoke with a recruiter and quickly had a screening followed by a 30 minute interview with the hiring manager.
Process was laid out well by the recruiter:
1. Interview with hiring manager
2. Interview with stakeholders
3. Interview with other executive members
After the first interview i received a response from the recruiter that same week that the hiring manager was evaluating and I would hear back soon.
Another week goes by, and I received yet ANOTHER response from the recruiter stating that the hiring manager had concluded interviews the day I interviewed, and to expect a response by end of week.
Well surprise surprise, yet another week, (so over three weeks) and I finally reached out only to be informed that the hiring manager made a selection already.
So I was on the hook for three weeks, no ding and a recruiter who kept me optimistic as I was still receiving updates. It wasn't until I reached out that I received a rather cold *sorry" message.
The disrespect and seeming disorganization seems to be a common theme with banks. I'm just applaud with their lack of respect as I had other prospects I was essentially putting on "hold."
