      UAS Operator Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Mach Industries (Huntington Beach, CA) in Dec 2025

      Interview

Was put through 4 interviews just to be told NO on receiving the position. First interview was by the supposed HR, second was by the Lead Crew Chief and the the third was by the Lead Test Engineer. First three were conducted very unprofessionally. The 4th interview was supposed to be a flyout to see the facility, meet the team and give a presentation but instead had to give a video presentation to a bunch of under 25 years old who didn't even have the decency to have thier video screens on while conducting the interview. Not one of them introduced themselves in the beginning as to who they were and what they did in the company. There was a total of 8 people on the video call which in my opinion was overkill. All together the interview process was done very poorly by young adults who don't know how to conduct interviews professionally.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked several questions about situations and how I would handle them but out of 8 people only 2 asked me questions.
