Interview
30 minute zoom interview with one member of the team and their manager. About 15 minutes are spent answering their questions and then the interviewee has the opportunity to ask questions.
A short phone screening followed by a meeting with the hiring manager. Definitely know the books the company publishes and write a good cover letter about why you're interested in the industry.
Phone interview with future supervisor discussing experience and interest in publishing as a career. Relatively easy questions, talked about writing and design experience. Got a phone call with an offer a few weeks later.
Had two interviews - met with the hiring manager then another person on the team. These were easy questions and a good experience overall! Heard back for an interview exactly a month after applying.
