Communication from the recruiter was good and the process initially seemed well organised. I completed the hiring manager interview and psychometric assessments and received very positive feedback on both. I was told I had passed the hiring manager stage and that my psychometric results were exactly what the team was looking for. Despite this, the process ended without progressing to a final interview. This was surprising given the earlier confirmation that I had passed the stage and would move forward. Of course hiring decisions depend on the best overall fit, but reversing progression after confirming it is frustrating from a candidate perspective. Going through multiple stages and assessments only for the process to stop at that point felt like a significant investment of time without the opportunity to complete the full interview process. Candidates should be aware that even if you receive positive feedback and are told you have passed a stage, progression may still be reconsidered.
