I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Fresno, CA) in Aug 2012
Interview
I was referred to the position by a current employee of Macy's. A friend of mine handed my resume to her manager and I had a quick interview with the manager about 2 days later. Very easy and standard interview. A simple google of "most common interview questions" will be sufficient for preparing for a sales associate interview.
Interview questions [1]

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Orlando, FL)
Interview
Virtue first. Then, at the store. Interview questions are not hard but hiring manager/s are sketchy. They posted part time positions but when I got into the interview they said their looking for people wanting full time job. So unprofessional to take my time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
Basic interview process. Applied online and was called in for an interview about a week later. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. No assessments needed. I talked about 2 managers.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (New York, NY)
Interview
