I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Macy's in Feb 2016
Interview
My interview process was actually really fast, it took about a week when I received the email to schedule my interview. Once I went for my interview which was 3 days after scheduling I was interviewed one on one with the interviewer. The interviewer was very kind and recieved me as soon as I got there. The process was very quick I would say it was around 15-20 minutes and most the questions that were asked were about customer service. After the interview the interviewer told me the days I would have to go in for my training which I was surprised I got the job right there and then. My process was great, and I'm pretty sure if you know about customer service you'll have as much a great experience as mine!

Question 1
One question my interview asked was, what would I do in a situation where the customer was not having a good experience, how would you handle this situation?
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
