IF YOU ARE A COLLEGE STUDENT DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME. I applied a couple months ago (September.) They took about a week to get back to me. No human actually contacted me it was all automated which made you feel like just another worker and nothing special. When I came in, they were friendly but I got the impression they really just wanted to get this over with.
It was all going great actually because I looked at this site to prepare until he asked about my availability. I am a full time college student and don't have a car on campus during the weekdays. He said I "HAVE" to be available during the weeks too, not just weekends and wasn't understanding at all. Luckily I had an interview the previous day too and they were so much more understanding and flexible AND they pay more.
All the interview questions were just about what you would do in a situation not even any classic questions...

How would you make a customer to open a Macy's card?
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
