I went to where the offices were, waited for a little bit, got called back and interviewed with 2 different managers. The first manager was asking questions at the top of his head....starting asking my previous jobs....I only had one (nanny) so I just explained my duties. He then asked why I would like to work in customer service, I explained that I always have wanted to work in retail (not really lol) because I liked interacting with people and making a connection. The next manager had about 10 questions already printed up and a box underneath for your answers. He literally didn't look at me once and just wrote down my answers, he then said thank you, so and so will come back in now and he then told me I was hired.
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
