I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Detroit, MI) in Oct 2017
Interview
They are extremely disorganized. Want you to be available 24x7. Very non-feeling phone interview. Rejected the first time on the phone because I wouldn't work around the clock. Applied again a few days later and passed the phone interview. Got accepted on the phone. Then went in for an interview and got offered a much better role but for full-time. I wasn't available for full-time so turned it down. A week later they called me again and tried to make me a better offer. Not interested by this time. HR seems very disorganized. I wasn't impressed. That being said, I thought everyone I talked to was very nice.
Phone screen with recruiter, interview with hiring manager, panel with two members of the team. This was followed by an offer via phone from the recruiter. Very present and easy to follow
Very thorough but mostly digital and on a computer software. You get a set of questions on how you would deal with certain situations concerning customers and also safety concerns.
Interview questions [1]
