I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Macy's (Fresno, CA) in Oct 2012
Interview
I applied online and was asked to schedule an interview three hours later. A week after I applied was the only time they had to interview. I walked in and went down to their Human Resources area, which is on the same floor as the bedding and home appliances section. I waited for about ten minutes with two other women before I was called back for a one on one interview. Was pretty laid back and was more of a conversation of my previous experience with shopping at Macy's rather than an interview. After about twenty minutes I was called into a back room, asked about what kind of position I was looking for and the woman gave me the last open position in the Ready to Wear section, which is basically women's clothing, lingerie and the juniors section. All and all, pretty easy if your lucky to get a relaxed interviewer who likes to chat rather than drill questions. Dress in dark pants and a nice dark cardigan or a camy with a dark cover up or a dark shirt because that is their uniform.

Answer first question starting with One recorded video and then followed up with multiple recorded responses to additional questions. Pretty simple and straightforward. Dress up on the top and wear whatever on the bottom.
Was an easy phone interview that only took a couple of minutes. I was only asked maybe 3 questions at most. Questions were sales experience, job history, and what I can work
