Interview
I applied online and received an email the next day requesting to set up an interview. I arrived 10 minutes early. I wore a business-casual black dress, closed-toe black heels, with red nails and diamond earrings. The man who interviewed me was very friendly and punctual. We had a one-on-one interview where he asked me a few questions about myself and my previous retail experience. After casual conversation he dove into a few interview questions. After we finished with the questions, he started the paperwork and asked me if I would like to work in men's sportswear. The interview process was about 15 minutes.

How would you go about selling a Macy's card?
Describe a time when you saw a coworker break the rules. What did you do?
Describe a time when you worked as a team to achieve a goal.

Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
