Interview
I applied online, two weeks after i receive a called to schedule an interview. On the day of my interview, I was running late. I got stuck in traffic, so I called in and let the hiring manager know who I was and why i was running late. She said, she would wait for me. Upon arriving, I was wondering through the store trying to find HR, finally i did. They greeted me and made me feel very welcome. The hiring manger and I had a couple laughs. (They love people who are very spirited. ) she told me to have a sit while i waited with the other people being interviewed too. I was called first before them, which i was shocked since i was late. They ask the general interview questions. I answered them as upbeat as i could. Before the interview was over. She shook my hand and said what department would i be most interested in. She then said congratulations on getting the job. I was shocked that even though i was running late, i got hired before those waiting for the Hiring manger to interview them. It took no more than 20 mins. Very simple and easy. Just go in with the "i can do anything" attitude.
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
