I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Bridgewater, NJ) in Aug 2013
Interview
I completed the application process in about an hour and received confirmation of my application via email. Two days later, I received a generic email requesting that I schedule my interview online. I wanted the weekend to prepare, so I scheduled it for the following Monday. I showed up a few minutes early; another gal was already waiting for her interview. A manager brought me back for interview and to discuss my results of their "personality test". He escorted me back to the waiting area and told HR to hire me. They scheduled my training for the next day, and my orientation for a couple weeks later.

Virtue first. Then, at the store. Interview questions are not hard but hiring manager/s are sketchy. They posted part time positions but when I got into the interview they said their looking for people wanting full time job. So unprofessional to take my time.
