I completed an online application for part-time seasonal help that was very long. It appeared to be a one-size-fits-all application used or all positions from part time sales help to CEO. The application included a matrix to indicate work availability ranging from early morning to late evening for each day of the week.

Question 1
It was a pretty standard interview that explored in more detail the work history on my resume. The interview was going very well and the interviewer seemed excited and asked how soon could I start. When I asked about scheduling I was told I needed to be available for any shift any day of the week during the October to December holiday season and the availability I had indicated during the online applications process was not necessarily taken into account when schedules were created.
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
