I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Macy's in Apr 2011

      Interview

My process was easy, I only had phone interviews. I am now hearing that the process is much more intense, and there are many face to face interviews.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Did not have any difficult questions. Mostly just asking about my experience and telling me about the position

      Interview

Phone screen to start the process. Then went to a regional office to interview one on one. After regional interview, there was a on site full day interview with 15-20 other candidates for positions all over the country. Onsite interview consisted of a half day of one on one interviews with regional managers and half day doing a case study with a group of 5 candidates.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The case study was an opportunity to show your teamwork and leadership ability. Interviewers did not care if you had the correct numbers because you will learn them in training. They wanted to see how you interacted with others and your thought process
