I applied online. I interviewed at Magic Ears in Jan 2018
Interview
Pretty low stress compared to other companies! 5 minutes of talking and then an 8 minute demo. The interviewer was extremely friendly and let me know upfront what the process would be like and what they are looking for. She asked me if I had any questions before and after and was very informative. The demo was short and not drawn out. Before I even did the interview, there were plenty of materials on the teacher portal for me to view to help me pass and tell me about the company. There was even a demo of the exact content I was supposed to be demonstrating, so it was very clear the kind of energy they expect and want at Magic Ears. The cannot give you specific feedback in the interview, but within two days they will send you some feedback via e-mail. The interviewer was very thankful of my time and appreciative that I wanted to work for the company, which is new!

The interview is easy to pass. You can record a demo or schedule a live interview. Passion is very important.
The trial demo needs some preparation. Overall it is nice.

Question 1
Why do you choose Magic Ears?
Do you have passion to teach?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Magic Ears (Cape Town) in Jan 2021
Interview
You have to create a demo lesson for two phonemes, then a introduction video about yourself, have a group interview and then record a demo lesson using their platform. It is a long process but fairly basic to the industry.
