I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mango (New York, NY) in Jan 2013
Interview
I applied in the store and was called a week later for an interview the next day. It was 1:1, simple and laid back. The manager asked normal background questions & tried to get a feel of my personality. She asked how was my experience in my previous retail jobs, what my major in college is, why I liked the store & if I wanted had any questions about the store. By the end of the interview it was more of a casual conversation. I was called back the day after & was offered a position.
I applied online. I interviewed at Mango (London, England) in May 2026
Interview
First round is CV screening, if you have a fashion background in work experience or studies then you might be selected for round 2. Round 2 is group interview. I had group of 8. Then round 3 is personal interview with the store manager. They call you in a week if you're successful. I got the call in 4 days.
The interview was with the assistant manager, very informal and lasted less than 10 minutes. The questions were along the lines of asking your availability and if you had any other commitments, what kind of experience you have etc.
