The interview consisted of a quick phone screen from HR in Port Washington to set up an in-person interview in Manitowoc, and then a five-person interview in Manitowoc. HR was relatively uncooperative with my schedule when setting up the in-person interview. I was told "it had to be before the holidays because everyone would be gone in December" which should be a red flag to any potential employee honestly. Each individual in the engineering team had roughly 35 minutes to interview me in their individual offices. It was a very long interview process considering I had to repeat the same talk five times, as may of the questions were re-used from engineer to engineer. The building is now mostly used by Alliance Laundry Systems, and the rest of the engineering offices are somewhat outdated in technology and have not stuck with the current industry. Not much knowledge about 3D printing technology and that's unacceptable for 2023 considering hobby equipment is only $300, maybe less. There is no HR on site for the Manitowoc location as it is based in Port Washington. At one point I was asked about my "job hopping" which certainly raised eyebrows considering most of my employment has been 1.5-2.5 year stays so far, which is far from abnormal this day and age. I was also told to bring completed drug testing paperwork that would collected directly after the interview. However there was no HR or notice that anyone in the building wanted the paperwork collected the day.
