I applied online, succeeded through a brief phone interview with the hotel event manager and arranged a first face to face interview. All questions are based on star - situation, task, action, result. They asked around 7 questions. They are based around the key skills and responsibilities as per the job description.
The event manager and her scribe left to discuss my answers and asked me to prepare an answer about why I wanted the job. I then asked them questions about the role.
I was asked to proceed to a second interview with the sales director. Same interview format as before. However after hearing good feedback from both I was unsuccessful. They hired someone doing the job in another hotel.
Positive interview process, and they kept my details for any further position.
